June paintings and an update
I’ve been painting quite a bit to keep up with market demand. I finished four 5×7″ watercolors today (group photo below). I started six more watercolors and three poppy paintings are almost finished.

Today’s Studio Photo – Portland watercolors
I’ve returned to my Portland landmark series. This is the beginning of Powell’s Bookstore in Downtown Portland Oregon.
I’m still working on my series of watercolors of Portland landmarks. This one is the Portland sign at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Broadway.
I continue to meet wonderful people at the market. I am selling my travel watercolors (the washed out white spots on the left) and recent paintings (flowers & landscapes). People are also giving me ideas for new paintings (I have a notepad where everyone can write down their suggestions). Some ideas are London, Greece, and Italy.
What to expect:
New watercolor versions of places I have previously visited from the suggestion list.
New watercolors of Portland-area landmarks.
A few new flowers; in oil.
Workshops – I have received requests for classes/workshops. I will plan those as well. Possibilities are watercolor and drawing.I can do one or both. Let me know your thoughts.
